GIRLS BASKET BALL

     The Girls' Basket Ball team for the season of 26-27 proved to be a great success. They did not have the material to work with like the larger schools, but nevertheless they were willing to go against some of the strongest teams in this part of the state. Although they were not always winners, they never gave up. They went into each game with lots of pep and retained it throughout the game. They showed good sportsmanship on the floor regardless of the outcome of the game. Miss Cleaver proved her ability as a basket ball coach and always worked for the good of the team. The one ambition of the team was to win honor for their school rather than securing fame for themselves, and we believe they accomplished this aim.
