Sept. 7-School opened with an
enrollment of 252.
New teaching staffs High School: Mr.Culter, Miss Cannon, and Miss Wohlenberg; also
Miss Cleaver in Fifth and Miss Lyle in Second. Talk by Rev. Johnson.
Sept. 10-The first issue of the High School's newspaper, "The Eagle," was
published. Paper to be published twice each month.
Sept. 17-Seniors gave the first Literary Program.
Sept. 27-Freshmen received their green caps.
Oct. 1-Freshmen Initiation
Oct. 4-Beginning of Basket Ball practice.
Oct. 12-First Basket Ball game; Inter-class tournament. Juniors, 7; Preps, 6.
Oct. 14-15-First of the Six Weeks Exams.
Oct. 15-Finish of tournament. Teachers, 8; Girls, 11. Eighth, 5; Soph., 15. Juniors, 7;
Seniors, 17. Soph., 8; Seniors, 11. SENIORS CHAMPIONS, won pennant.
Oct. 25--Farm Bureau held meeting in School House.
Nov. 2-Halloween Masquerade party given by Athletic Association.
Nov. 8-9-Teachers Institute.
Nov. 22-23-Second of Six Weeks Exams.
Nov. 24-First and Fifth grades
entertained the school visitors with a Thanksgiving Program.
