During the two years Mr. Byram has been superintendent of this school it has made marked advance along many lines. The Junior High School gives added interest to the seventh and eighth grade work. The Manual Training Department has turned out some excellent products with their new equipment. The new mimeograph makes possible the bi-weekly school newspaper, "The Eagle." A broader scientific course of study has been offered by combining the junior and Senior class work. The Athletic Association has developed initiative and school spirit as well as giving practice in appearing before the public.
We want to thank the school board for providing the new equipment, but since the superintendent directs the policies of the school, much credit is due Mr. Byram for helping our school to become one of the best consolidated schools in this part of the state.
Mr. Byram is a man of wide experience and broad education and has given unstintingly of his time and talent to make the school a success. He has high ideals for the school as a whole and also for each individual pupil. Although we perhaps have not reached those ideals we have been greatly benefited in attempting to attain them.

FACULTY

The faculty for the present school year is one of the best combinations that has been in school for several years.
Miss Ransom, who teaches the first grade, has also been conducting a very successful kindergarten this last semester of those who have become of school age since school began.
Miss Lyle teaches second, Miss Bennett third, Miss Lyon fourth, Mrs. Harker fifth, and Mrs. Hammer the sixth. The grades during the school year have put on several very interesting programs and have advanced a great deal in their school work.
Miss Rannells, as principal of the Senior High, has certainly been a huge success in every department of her work. In addition to her work of handling the senior high, she has managed the hot lunch coached Declamatory students and carried a schedule of work as heavy as any other member of the faculty. Miss Rannells has the admiration and respect of every student in the school, and we could wish no greater good fortune for the school than that she remain forever.
Miss Wohlenberg as head of the junior high has proven herself mighty fine indeed and carries her share of responsibility always.
Miss Cannon has taken charge of the English and Citizenship in the Nigh school. She has proven her ability along these lines, and we hope that she is here again next year:
Miss Shelton, handicapped by conditions, took hold of mathematics in mid-year and made huge success of it. We are indeed glad that she is to be here the coming year.
