During the two years Mr. Byram has been
superintendent of this school it has made marked advance along many lines. The Junior High
School gives added interest to the seventh and eighth grade work. The Manual Training
Department has turned out some excellent products with their new equipment. The new
mimeograph makes possible the bi-weekly school newspaper, "The Eagle." A broader
scientific course of study has been offered by combining the junior and Senior class work.
The Athletic Association has developed initiative and school spirit as well as giving
practice in appearing before the public. We want to thank the school board for providing the new equipment, but since the superintendent directs the policies of the school, much credit is due Mr. Byram for helping our school to become one of the best consolidated schools in this part of the state. Mr. Byram is a man of wide experience and broad education and has given unstintingly of his time and talent to make the school a success. He has high ideals for the school as a whole and also for each individual pupil. Although we perhaps have not reached those ideals we have been greatly benefited in attempting to attain them. |
