The school year began with a roll of twenty-eight
pupils. Since then there have been three pupils who have moved away. On Mother's Day the
mothers were all invited to attend and see what the children were doing. They did regular
work on this day.
The pupils put on a party at Christmas time. They had a Christmas
tree and exchanged gifts. They also helped on the Christmas program given in the assembly.
On Valentines' Day the pupils put on a party; they had a candy hunt several games and
contests, besides a Valentine box.
Of course, just when we get an extra fine teacher, some one else
also thinks she's nice and we lose her. Maybe she will have an easier job than keeping us
busy and out of mischief all day, but we sort of doubt it. We even have to have a new
teacher in our new grade the same reason. |
