The Girls' Glee Club has made
considerable advancement this year. Our first appearance was at the
Musicale on January 26; when we sang "My Dream Boat Passes By," and "Just
for Today." We are planning to sing in the County Festival this year, and,
if possible, will enter the Sub-District Music Contest. We will also sing
for the Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises.
The club will lose only five of its members this year
by graduation. They are: Marguerite Nelson, Margie Lennert, Helen
McManimie, Velma Alexander, and Eleanor Southern.
